7) He is writing a book. → A book is being written by him.
8) · People speak English all over the world. → English is spoken by the people all over the world.
9) · The cat chased the mouse. → The mouse was chased by the cat.
10) · Have you laughed at them? → Have they been laughed at by you?
11) · The teacher said, “Let the boy go home now.” → The teacher said that the boy might be allowed to go home then.
12) · The old lady said to her son, “Is it not your duty to help me in my old age?” → The old lady asked her son if it was not his duty to help her in her old age.
13) “Sweets are not liked by us.” → We do not like sweets.
14) · “Who speaks French?” → He wanted to know who spoke French.
15) · “Meet me at the cinema,” he said. → He asked me to meet him at the cinema.
16) · “The girl is riding the horse.” → The horse is being ridden by the girl.
17) · “Was she sewing my shirt?” → Was my shirt being sewn by her?
18) · “I like mangoes.” → Mangoes are liked by me.
