Active & Passive Voice

Passive: Breakfast is made by Tara at 6 am.

2) Active: The rainy season breeds mosquitos.
Passive: Mosquitos are bred by the rainy season.

4) Our army has defeated the enemy. → The enemy has been defeated by our army.

5) ·  The people elected him Mayor. → He was elected Mayor by the people.

6) : “Who was helped by the rich?”)→ Whom the rich was helped. 

7) He is writing a book. → A book is being written by him.

8) ·  People speak English all over the world. → English is spoken by the people all over the world.

9) ·  The cat chased the mouse. → The mouse was chased by the cat.

10) ·  Have you laughed at them? → Have they been laughed at by you?

11) ·  The teacher said, “Let the boy go home now.” → The teacher said that the boy might be allowed to go home then.

12) ·  The old lady said to her son, “Is it not your duty to help me in my old age?” → The old lady asked her son if it was not his duty to help her in her old age.

13) “Sweets are not liked by us.” → We do not like sweets.
